Only Me I Think

When i have a question, I tend to raise my hand and announce i have a question and then ask my question. Does anyone else do that?

Finished Homeboys in a matter of hours.

It was a really touching and good book. It made me cry a couple times because the things being said and the situations they were in i could relate to. Most teenagers go through a time in their life where they just want to fit in and be loved. I went through that phase in middle school and freshman year. But then I realized that: everyone isn't gonna be my friend, I can't trust everyone, and somethings you just gotta do on your own. It really made me think and look at how things in my life are right now. Everything just needs to pause for one mintute so i can just breathe and collect myself. Because when i get overwhelmed i shut down. I dont do anything. I just put my head down and block out the rest of the world.

New Book- Homeboyz

So i just finished Live and Learn. And yes. I did learn something from it.

• dont fight over stupid stuff
• you can't trust everybody
• friends before guys (always)
• dont believe everything you hear

but anyway. I started this new book last night called Homeboyz. It kinda shows how "gangters" think. And i put quotation marks because they are wanna be gangsters. It's pretty interesting, but at the same time it's the same stuff that i see in Live and Learn and in the movie Takers. So we will see how this ends.

Today in class we were reading funny puns. And my teacher said something about goldfish and i yelled out....Goldfish cant have babies. And i wasnt thinking that the females cant have babies...lol. I felt kinda stupid afterwards but at the same time it was funny.

So..

I'm reading this book called Live and Learn, but I'm not learning anything from it. It's starting to look like a pointless read. I mean I can relate to it...a little, but not a lot. And the people in the book aren't really living. They're just doing what they gotta do to make ends meet. and to me that's not living. I like teen books, but I wanna be able to relate to it or learn something from it. But that seems with this book it went out the window.

Ugh!
